The Facebook for Small Business?
Opening its doors this week is Sta.rtUp.biz, the self-proclaimed ‘Facebook for small business.’
Hoping to weed out the non-business types you often find on other social networks, the startup hopes to connect like-minded individuals and become a hotbed for advice.
One feature that sets the site apart is the fact that they have a rotating panel of experts that actively participate in the forums. From legal issues to SEO questions, people ‘in the know’ are available to answer your queries.
The helpful resources include a lot of video and text. On the homepage, you find a prominent link that gives you access to more than 50 videos from The Big Idea w/ Donny Deutsch, a show I happen to be quite fond of.
You also have quick access to daily articles from the ‘big 7′ magazines that appeal to small business.
Whether your small business needs inspiration, motivation, or management – Sta.rtUp.biz is worth checking out.
