ZVUE’s eBaum’s World strengthens community and audience engagement

ebaums.pngZVUE Corporation announced significant new viral features for eBaum’s World, its largest online entertainment property.

eBaum’s World, the online destination specializing in office humor, online games and off-beat news, has launched social bookmarking, which enables its community to submit, vote and comment on their own links and the links of others in the new eLinks section. The entire eBaum’s World community can now view and benefit from the opinions and experiences of its active members.

Unlike other social bookmarking sites, eBaum’s is going a step further by launching a second program called eReps. eReps provides real rewards points to users who actively participate in the eBaum’s community through submitting, voting and commenting on content. eReps points therefore become a virtual currency that can be turned into prizes such as Nintendo Wii systems, Xbox 360s, digital cameras, and many other fun and exciting items.
