Full 1080 HD Video Viewing on YouTube

Finally, a feature that should have been activated by YouTube a long time ago - full 1080 HD video viewing.  Yup, YouTube just did – turned this on. You can now start watching HD videos the way it should be watch – in full 1080 resolution.

Of course, to enjoy this feature, uploaded should also be produced using HD-capable video camera. The good news is – you won’t have  a hard time finding an affordable and handy HD camera today. Take a gander at Kodak’s Zi6, Flip Mino HD and the likes.

YouTube is also supporting other HD formats, including those in 720p.

And since you’re at it, you might as well turn on the 1080p display resolution of your PCs. YouTube videos will never be the same again as you watch it on a large monitor or even an LCD hooked up with your PC or Mac.
