If the video promoting Google’s mobile search with movies  was rather inappropriate because it features three geek-looking Google engineers looking for a theater where New Moon is currently showing, wait till you see this new Microsoft video promoting Microsoft 7.  Microsoft’s video stars three babes known in the UK as Sugababes showing us how they use Windows 7 in their daily busy lives. Really?

C’mon Microsoft, do you really believe that such ploy will convince fans of Sugababes to use Windows 7?

Equally funny is the fact that the Sugababes are using a pink Sony Vaio laptop running Windows 7 to do what? – create a birthday card and setting parental controls. Yeah, that’s how powerful and useful Microsoft 7 is – according to Microsoft and Sugababes.

Things would have been different if Microsoft enlisted Lady Gaga instead.
