Twitter CEO Tries to Explain Revenue Model
Have fun trying to decipher this. At the recently concluded Web 2.0 Summit, author John Battelle asked Twitter CEO Evan Williams about Twitter’s elusive revenue model. Ev’s answers were equally elusive, to say the least.
Best soundbite: Twitter content is “theoretically monetizable”. As one of my favorite IBM commercials goes, the point of innovation is to make actual money.
