Twitter users in the U.K. are probably busy right now playing around with two new features that other Twitter users won’t have, at least not in the near future – Twitter SMS and MMS.

The new Twitter services was made possible by Orange UK which was so generous to turned on not only Twitter SMS but Twitter MMS as well. Of course, Twitter will not charge extra for the service. Only the carrier’s standard messaging rates will apply.

The MMS feature goes through Orange UK’s Snapshot site. And to use this feature all you have to do is to take a photo using your camera phone, then send it via MMS to 86444 and walla your photos will be send as twit on your Twitter timeline.

In addition, non-Orange UK users can still use Twitter SMS even if they are on O2 or Vodafone network.
