YouTube on a diet? The way the site has been going, it's positively anorexic. Stripped of bulletins, downgraded to beta, not even listing the number of videos watched anymore and, now, out with the comments and ratings?! Talk about going downhill. As far as I'm concerned, the premise of faster loading videos is just a front for further reducing user interaction, given what Feather removes from the video viewing experience. YouTube is not know for benevolence towards the masses and this venture shouldn't be taken at face value. It's not what it claims to be.

Thanks Franky. Hopefully the lesser features will result to faster load time. But based on my initial observation, it didn't improve a bit on my side.

Only last 10 comments, no comment form. Less options when grabbing the embed code (less .js to load for all the customisation options). Looks a lot more like Vimeo, the best video site, now. Just uglier. :)
