Among the 1,007 adults who were surveyed, Google got an extremely high 82 percent favorability rate, while 52 percent said they are strong favorability towards the company. Only nine percent said they had an unfavorable view of Google.
Apple was the second most favorable in the survey, with 74 percent favorability rate, but only a “strong” favorability rate of 37 percent. This, despite the fact that Apple fans are known for their almost cult-like following of the company.
Facebook took third place with a 58 percent favorability rating, relatively low considering the fact that it is, without a doubt, the most popular social network on earth. It got a “strong” favorability rate of 23 percent and got an “unfavorable” rate of 13 percent.
Twitter was the last with a favorability rate of just 34 percent, which is lower than its total unfavorability rating of 36 percent. It only got a “strong” favorability rating of 8 percent. This, at least, may be expected since not a lot of people are still familiar with Twitter.
