ClipBlast! expands automated web video indexing system

February 6, 2023 By Cristina Ledesma 1 Comment

clipblast.jpgClipBlast!, a web-wide video search and navigation platform, announced that it has expanded its automated web video indexing system, created to build the world’s largest index of video online.

The ClipBlast! Web Video Indexing System automatically recognizes content providers, accurately parsing new video metadata – published data from video provider and multiple other sources, speech-to-text translation, closed captioning, images, and the like – thereby creating the world’s largest index for video search.

“The Video Web is growing so rapidly that unprecedented levels of intelligent automation are absolutely essential to organizing it all,” Gary Baker, ClipBlast! founder, said. “We expect literally tens of millions of new clips to come online over the next 60-90 days. ClipBlast!’s expanded system automatically crawls the web to detect discreet video, video content providers and video feeds. And we see demand for online video only increasing – exponentially.”

tubearoo_buying.jpgTubearoo, Inc., with its mission to become one of the world’s largest Internet video networks for users to view, upload, and share Internet video, announced that it has begun to more closely consider the acquisition aspect of the growth strategies for its business.

“From the beginning our general plans have involved growth through internal development as well as acquisitions, and we are now more closely considering the acquisition side to the growth of our business,” said Paul Medvedev, Tubearoo’s President and CEO.

“With relatively high market fragmentation, the Internet video business is primed for consolidation and acquisitions, and we have had the opportunity to loosely review a few acquisition opportunities. Tubearoo’s plan is to build a network of Internet video, social networking, and people-powered websites. Currently operating Tubearoo.com, Shoutwire.com, Teleroo.com, and Tubearoo.cn, the company hopes to develop and acquire other websites to add to the network. Medvedev added that “Any companies interested in such a transaction should contact Tubearoo directly, we welcome the occasion to learn more of any potential opportunities with interested parties.”

Veteran magazine editor Michael Caruso launches TheDailyTube.com

February 6, 2023 By Rhiza Sanchez Leave a Comment

TheDailyTubeVeteran Magazine Editor Michael Caruso launched TheDailyTube.com, a startup that searches the best videos online and stores them in one platform for easier update and access.

TheDailyTube allows users to subscribe through email such that they automatically get the best and must-see videos without having to browse endlessly through online video sharing sites.

“I’m a big fan of YouTube, Grouper, Funny Or Die and other video websites,” says Caruso. “But who has time to wade through thousands of videos to find the hidden gems? If I have five or ten minutes, I want to see the best new stuff right away. I talked to friends and realized there were a lot of people who had the same frustration.”

Currently, TheDailyTube is composed of a team of internet-savvy websurfers, editors and writers who scouts the net for new videos everyday, filtering the funniest, smartest, and most creative ones, and posts them to TheDailyTube under various categories such as Humor, Celebrities, Music, Sports, etc. Users can either view these videos through the site, or they can sign-up for the free email-service so that they get feeds through email.

Michael Caruso has been known for his past involvement with popular magazines such as Men’s Journal, Details, Vanity Fair, and at the present, with newly-launched business magazine Conde Nast Portfolio.
