Former presidential candidate Ross Perot launches website on U.S. economic crisis

March 13, 2023 By Cristina Ledesma

Businessman and former presidential candidate Ross Perot has launched PerotCharts.com, a public information website that contains objective, information about the current economic crisis in America.

Perot said that the site is being launched as an alert and appeal for American citizens to inform themselves about federal government spending.

PerotCharts.com consists of three major components: a video featuring Ross Perot discussing the purpose of the website, a blog where new charts and other information are posted daily for study and comment, and a narrated chart presentation explaining the economic problems the country faces.

The website stressed that it is not affiliated with any political party or candidate. If not, then what is the motive then? We can only wonder.

March 13, 2023 By Dennis Bouchand

Personalized radio service Pandora and online community for movie fans Flixster are both joining Indieclick, a publisher network that targets the youth market.

These new additions grow IndieClick’s targeted network of more than 200 film/entertainment, music, culture and community destinations to more than 50 million unique visitors who generate more than 2.5 billion impressions per month.

The bottomline here is more reach for advertisers since IndieClick’s network is targeted on the most receptive audience in the areas of music, film, and entertainment– the youth.

Kayak.com launches highly-targeted display ad platform

March 13, 2023 By Dennis Bouchand

kayak.pngKayak.com has launched an innovative display
advertising platform that helps travel marketers target their ads based on search criteria including destination, origination, trip dates, length of stay, specific airline/hotel/car brands and car type. Referrals generated by either ad type can pass consumers’ search information through to the advertiser’s web site, allowing the advertiser to display relevant search results instead of a generic landing page.

If you’re a consumer fed up with advertising, Kayak.com allows consumers to turn off display ads indefinitely by simply clicking on a “hide display ad” link below each advertising unit.

Cars.com launches free classified site Freebo

March 13, 2023 By Cristina Ledesma

Cars.com has unveiled Freebo.com, a free private-party classifieds website where individuals can sell or shop for a vehicle at no cost in an online environment with built-in fraud-protection measures.

Freebo.com, which stands for “free by owner,” was developed in response to shifting consumer trends and the growing popularity of free private-party classifieds sites. Unlike other free classifieds sites, Freebo.com is tailored exclusively to car sellers and buyers.

Freebo.com leverages the automotive expertise of Cars.com, featuring content such as buyer’s and seller’s guides, photos, pricing information and unbiased reviews. These tools fuel decision-making and allow sellers to give shoppers the feel of a test drive even before they get behind the wheel. For sellers, the site was engineered to be easy; a simple interface guides consumers step by step as they create and post their classified ad.

Freebo.com was developed with site security and consumer safety as a top priority. Fraud filters check each ad for fraud, and buyers and sellers are kept up to date on the latest internet scams.
